Open System

PALLADION is designed to be an open system that can easily integrate with existing OSS/BSS and related systems. PALLADION doesn’t replace existing network management, operations, provisioning, accounting and capacity planning systems; rather, it can complement them, to provider better functionality.

PALLADION can flexibly integrated in current and future IT infrastructure, and thereby protects your investments. Currently PALLADION provides SOAP, REST, SNMP, FTP, SMTP, and CSV interfaces.

REST Remote API

The REST Remote API is particularly outstanding, as it offers complete and unlimited access to all PALLADION data structures by using a very simple HTTP-based protocol. Client implementations can be quickly implemented in any available modern programming language, including Java, Python, C# or PHP. The REST API can even be used with a web browser for testing.

There is virtually no limit in what information you can retrieve and what action you can trigger using the REST API, including PALLADION extension script invocation.

Example: Customer Self Care
An example for creating additional value is by combining an existing customer self-care portal with the PALLADION system. The web portal can interface with PALLADION’s REST API to get access to the most recent calls and currently active end devices in real-time. Also, users could enable or disable the call recording functionality in PALLADION and access the recorded files. Everything is just a matter of small adjustments on the web portal: the backend work is all handled by PALLADION.
