PALLADION can easily be extended by scripts — a unique option to master today’s and tomorrow’s challenges
The scripting API allows operators to implement small applications in a standard programming language that can be safely executed within the PALLADION Suite. The scripts can conveniently access all data structures and functionality within PALLADION, allowing you to create a variety of small and larger applications to cope with very specific requirements that are not covered by the standard PALLADION product.
Scripts are executed by PALLADION in a secure sandbox environment to guarantee the stability of the PALLADION system. The execution can be triggered either manually, by using the web interface, or remotely and fully automated using the REST API.
Script examples
These examples show the various areas of application for the Scripting API:
- Provide a list of all users calling with G.726 codec and that had calls terminated by the B-party after less than 20s within the last 2 weeks
- Identify recent calls that have been terminated by faulty behaviour of a network device
- Provide KPIs for usage patterns of a newly launched centrex service to be used by a business intelligence system
- Implement missed call notification functionality by triggering a remote server in real-time using SOAP in case of missed calls
- Provide an interface for a decision support system answering questions like: Has this user ever successfully initiated a call
