Management

Alex Hoffmann (CEO)
Alex started his SIP career at Fraunhofer FOKUS research institute working on rapid SIP application development and deployment. He joined iptelorg as one of their very first employees and helped making this startup grow and become commercially successful. About one year after iptelorg being acquired by Tekelec Alex left to found his own company IPTEGO together with Uli, former CTO of iptelorg and COO of IPTEGO today. Leveraging his technical background and his experience in making a startup commercially successful, Alex lead IPTEGO to become a profitable company from day one. After several years of success Alex is now responsible mainly for continuous growth and strategic partnerships for IPTEGO.

Uli Abend (COO)
Uli started his career by co-founding LOGANDGO, an account aggregation company. Later he worked at Fraunhofer FOKUS as the leading architect on media server and TDM SIP integration. As first employee of iptelorg he was responsible as CTO for the first significant VoIP deployments in Germany and in the states. As well he was leading the team when the carrier class SOP2 system was invented and built using the worlds most popular SIP server SER. As one of the results, Tekelec acquired iptelorg to use the technology in the core of their IMS platform. As co-founder of IPTEGO Uli is today responsible for IPTEGO's team and operations.

Gino Bettoni (VP Sales EMEA)
Gino is a charismatic leader who has achieved notable success with a number of renowned world-leading IT organizations, e.g. Radware Ltd. Eicon Technology Ltd, Siosistemi SpA.
As a proven sales manager, Gino has the ability to deliver outstanding results through leadership of sales, marketing and engineering people. He is also able to initiate and lead major account sales cycles with Italy’s and south Europe most strategic corporate customers at “C” level and board, whilst managing the account teams to engage from other levels. A well respected sales leader in the market.

Eric Grubel (VP Sales for the Americas)
Eric is IPTEGOs Vice President of Sales for the Americas. He is responsible for developing partnerships and driving sales in North and Latin America.
He joins IPTEGO with over 20 years of executive experience in sales, marketing and general management with both hardware and software companies such as Alcatel-Lucent, Living-e, Sabeus Photonics, ACT Networks, Clarent, Xylan and Proteon.

Stan Calderwood (General Manager & VP Sales for Asia Pacific)
Stan is an enthusiastic person with a high level knowledge of the Asian culture. Before joining IPTEGO's team he was VP Sales for Asia Pacific for Blueslice Networks and Apertio Ltd., building both from zero. In 2008 Apertio Ltd. was sold to Nokia Siemens. Stan achieved great success as Sales Director at Data General, creating the Telco Division, and part of the EMC Corporation Telco team.
